About the Brand

Lancôme was founded by perfumer and entrepreneur Armand Petitjean in 1935 as a perfume house. The brand's first five fragrances were Tropiques, Conquête, Tendres Nuits, Kypre and Bocages. In the same year, they were presented at the World Exhibition in Brussels, where they received medals and awards.

The rose became the symbol of Lancôme thanks to Armand Petitjean's passion for this flower and the garden in which he cultivated it. Since 1964, the brand has been part of the L'Oréal group.

Ô de Lancôme builds on the brand's perfumery roots dating back to 1935.
