About the Brand

Jean-Louis Scherrer joined the fashion house Dior in 1956 and founded his own fashion house in Paris in 1962. The brand began dedicating itself to perfume creation in 1979.

In 1980, Jean-Louis Scherrer received the Dé d'or award of Parisian haute couture for the RUSSE collection. The fashion house operated in the field of haute couture until 2007, after which it focused on couture ready-to-wear and licensed products. Its characteristic codes include the leopard motif, a polka-dot skirt and a graphic style inspired by the Bauhaus.
