About the Brand

Jean-Louis Scherrer, after studying at the Paris Chambre syndicale de la Haute Couture, joined the fashion house Dior in 1956. He opened his own fashion house in Paris in 1962, and the brand entered the world of perfumery in 1979.

In 1980, Jean-Louis Scherrer received the Dé d'or award from Paris haute couture for the Russe collection. The brand operated as a Haute Couture house until 2007, after which it focused on couture ready-to-wear and licensed products. Since 2011, it has been owned by JSB International, managed by the Bensoussan family.

Scherrer 2 builds on the history of the Parisian fashion house, which expanded into perfumery as early as 1979.
