About the Brand

Jean-Louis Scherrer trained at the Paris Chambre syndicale de la Haute Couture and joined Dior in 1956. He opened his own fashion house in 1962 on Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré in Paris. The brand entered the world of fragrance in 1979 with the Jean-Louis Scherrer scent. A year later, the designer received the Dé d'or award from Paris haute couture for his Russe collection.

Scherrer is thus a fragrance directly linked to the entry of the Parisian fashion house Jean-Louis Scherrer into the world of perfumery.
