Fragrance and Composition

The fragrance was inspired by undergrowth moistened by morning dew. The original composition was created by perfumer Françoise Caron in 1979. At that time, it was named Eau de Cologne Hermès, while the name Eau d'Orange Verte was given in 1997.

About the Brand

The history of Hermès began in Paris in 1837, when Thierry Hermès opened a workshop for the production of horse harnesses on rue Basse-du-Rempart. The independent French company remains family-owned and operates across sixteen craft disciplines. It has been dedicated to perfumery since 1951, when it introduced its first fragrance, Eau d'Hermès, by Edmond Roudnitska.

Eau D'Orange Verte thus continues the brand's perfumery history, which began in 1951.
