About the Brand

The Yankee Candle brand was founded at Christmas 1969, when sixteen-year-old Mike Kittredge made a candle as a gift for his mother. Most of the brand's candles are crafted by master chandlers in Massachusetts. In 2016, the first Yankee Candle production facility outside the USA was opened in the Czech Republic, and the Signature collection was introduced in 2021.

Behind the candle stands a brand with a history dating back to 1969 and production facilities in both the USA and the Czech Republic.
