Lancôme La Vie Est Belle refill + pocket spray is a women's eau de parfum with a floral-fruity gourmand character. The set is designed for women who want to combine a 100 ml refill for a compatible refillable bottle with a refillable pocket spray of 15 ml.

Fragrance and composition

The original La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum was launched in 2012. The fragrance composition was created by Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo.

• Top notes: blackcurrant and pear.
• Heart notes: iris, jasmine and orange blossom.
• Base notes: praline, patchouli, tonka bean and vanilla.
• Fragrance character: floral-fruity and gourmand.
• Concentration: eau de parfum.

The Iris Pallida iris used in the fragrance is grown and harvested in France.

The composition offers a fruity opening, a floral heart and a sweetly toned base with patchouli, tonka bean and vanilla.

Usage

The standalone 100 ml refill is not intended for use without a compatible bottle. It can only be used with La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum bottles labelled as refillable.

Spray the fragrance from approximately 20 cm away from the skin. Recommended application points are pulse points, such as the inner wrists, the area below the earlobes and the backs of the knees.

A correctly chosen refillable bottle will allow you to use the refill as intended and apply the fragrance to the recommended areas.

One package contains both the refill and the smaller refillable spray:

• Pocket eau de parfum: 15 ml.
• The pocket spray is refillable.

Comparing one refillable 50 ml bottle and one 100 ml refill with three non-refillable 50 ml bottles, the manufacturer states savings of 50% glass, 46% plastic and 46% cardboard.

About the brand

The Lancôme brand was founded in 1935 by perfumer Armand Petitjean. That same year, he presented the first five Lancôme fragrances at the World Exhibition in Brussels: Tropiques, Conquête, Kypre, Tendres Nuits and Bocages. These fragrances received medals and awards at the exhibition.

La Vie Est Belle continues the perfumery history of the Lancôme brand, which began with five fragrances presented in 1935.
