About the Brand

The LEGO Group was founded by Ole Kirk Kristiansen in 1932. It is a privately held company headquartered in Billund, Denmark. The name LEGO was formed by combining the Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". The current form of the LEGO brick, with its interlocking principle using inner tubes, was introduced in 1958.

When building, you are working with a brick system whose current interlocking principle dates back to 1958.
