The narrative inspiration for the fragrance is the forbidden love between Egyptian Crown Prince Mohammed Ali Ibrahim and American actress Mabel Normand. The official INCI includes, among other ingredients, denatured alcohol, parfum, water, vanillin, Virginia cedarwood oil and Atlas cedar oil or extract.

About the Brand

The origins of Atkinsons date back to 1799, when James Atkinson came to London with a collection of fragrance and toiletry formulas. He established his first shop and perfume laboratory at 44 Gerrard Street in London's Soho.

In 1826, King George IV appointed Atkinsons as the official perfumer to the English royal court. In 1832, the business moved to 24 Old Bond Street in London's Mayfair district. The Oud Collection draws inspiration from the heroes, heroines and social figures of the 1920s, as well as from the landscapes of Arabian deserts and cities.

According to the brand, its perfume formulas are dermatologically tested and comply with IFRA regulations and European cosmetic legislation. Since 2020, Atkinsons has been owned by EuroItalia.
