About the Brand

Atkinsons was founded by James Atkinson in London in 1799. His first shop and perfumery laboratory was located at 44 Gerrard Street in Soho. In 1826, King George IV appointed the brand as the official perfumer to the English royal court, and in 1832 the business moved to 24 Old Bond Street in Mayfair. The current form of the Atkinsons 1799 brand is backed by EuroItalia.
