The brand describes the monoï accord as a creamy fragrant oil derived from gardenia petals. Dominique Ropion also incorporated citrus elements inspired by cologne fragrances during the creation process, followed by a floral heart.

In a consumer test, 81% of women stated that the fragrance evoked a feeling of happiness, and 79% of women experienced a good mood. The test took place in January 2024 across three countries, with 60 women aged 18–60 participating in each.

About the Brand

Lancôme was founded in 1935 by perfumer Armand Petitjean. That same year, the brand presented its first five fragrances at the World Exhibition in Brussels: Tropiques, Conquête, Kypre, Tendres Nuits and Bocages.

In 2020, it acquired the Domaine de la Rose in Grasse and subsequently renovated it. The estate is certified by Ecocert and uses ecological polyculture of fragrance plants.

Behind the fragrance stands a brand with a perfumery history dating back to 1935 and its own estate in Grasse.
