Composition

The wax fill consists of a blend of plant-based wax and food-grade paraffin. The fragrance composition includes:

• Top notes: cinnamon bark, red fruits and orange peel.
• Middle notes: coconut flesh, baked biscuits, milky accords, jasmine and tiare flower.
• Base notes: vanilla, toasted praline, white musk and tonka bean.
• According to the manufacturer, the composition is free from added parabens, sulphates, phthalates and formaldehyde.

The resulting composition connects fruity and spicy elements with coconut, biscuit, milky, floral and vanilla accords.

Use and Dosage

• Before each lighting, trim both wicks to 3 mm.
• On first use, allow the candle to burn until the melted wax reaches the edges of the jar; this will help prevent tunnelling.
• Gently extinguish the flame using a snuffer to reduce wick smoking.
• For safety reasons, stop using the candle when approximately 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom.

Following the above instructions will promote even wax burn and reduce both tunnelling and wick smoking.

About the Brand

Yankee Candle was founded at Christmas 1969, when sixteen-year-old Mike Kittredge made a candle as a gift for his mother. The brand's first scented candles in apothecary jars were brought to market in 1974.

In 2016, Yankee Candle became part of Newell Brands and opened its first overseas manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic. The Signature collection followed in 2021, with Vanilla Crème Brûlée among its ten new fragrances.
