About the Brand

The Jean Patou fashion house was founded in Paris in 1914 by French designer Jean-Alexandre Patou, known as Jean Patou. He sought to liberate women's fashion of the time, offering dresses without corsets and shortening skirt lengths. The brand was also among the pioneers of urban sportswear and used the JP monogram on its garments. In 2018, the fashion house was acquired by the LVMH group.
