About the Brand

LEGO Group was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen. The name LEGO was derived from the Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". The current form of the brick with hollow tubes was introduced in 1958.

LEGO Group is a privately held family company headquartered in Billund, Denmark, and is still owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family.

When making your choice, you have a clear context of the brand, whose brick of today builds on the design introduced in 1958.
