About the Brand

Moroccanoil co-founder Carmen Tal was inspired to establish the brand by her experience with an argan hair treatment while travelling. The brand started with a single hair product and later expanded its range to include hair, body, and professional hair colour products. It uses argan oil sourced from the native habitat of argan trees and processed by cold pressing. The brand is part of the PETA Beauty Without Bunnies programme and states that it does not test its products on animals, nor does it commission such testing from third parties.

Moroccanoil combines argan oil care with a declared cruelty-free approach to product testing.
