About the Brand

Behind Dsquared2 are twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, originally from Willowdale in Toronto. They began their journey in fashion in 1984 at the Parsons School of Design in New York. Eight years later, they moved to Italy with the aim of creating their own brand.

Dsquared2 presented its first menswear collection in 1995. The brand's philosophy combines Canadian iconography, refined Italian tailoring and playful sensuality. The collections are made in Italy, which is reflected in the motto "Born in Canada, Made in Italy".

Dsquared2 connects the Canadian roots of its founders with Italian manufacturing and a tailoring-driven approach.
