About the Brand

Behind the Dsquared2 brand are twins Dean and Dan Caten from Willowdale in Toronto. They began their journey in fashion in 1984 at the Parsons School of Design in New York, and eight years later moved to Italy with the aim of creating their own brand. They presented the first Dsquared2 men's collection in 1995.

The brand's philosophy combines Canadian iconography, refined Italian tailoring and playful sensuality. The collections are made in Italy, which is also reflected in the motto "Born in Canada, Made in Italy".
