About the Brand

French designer Jean Patou founded his eponymous fashion house in 1914. He championed the liberation of women's fashion through corset-free dresses, shorter skirts and an urban sportswear line.

In his Paris store, he also operated a perfume bar where he offered customers fragrances and cocktails. In 2018, the Jean Patou fashion house was acquired by the LVMH group.
