About the Brand
The origins of the London-based brand Penhaligon's date back to 1870, when William H. Penhaligon, a native of Penzance in Cornwall, took over a barbershop on Jermyn Street and expanded it with his own workshop. His first fragrance, Hammam Bouquet, was created in 1872, inspired by the scent of the neighbouring Turkish baths.
In 1903, the brand received its first Royal Warrant from Queen Alexandra. Since 2015, it has been part of the Puig group and operates within the perfume segment.
