About the Brand

The founder of the brand, William H. Penhaligon, was born in 1837 in Penzance, Cornwall. In 1861 he opened his own perfumery and barbershop there, and in 1872 created the brand's first fragrance, Hammam Bouquet. Penhaligon's received its first Royal Warrant from Queen Alexandra in 1903. Since 2015, the brand has been led by the Puig group.
