Penhaligon's Legacy of Petra is a unisex eau de parfum from the Trade Routes collection, inspired by the historic rock city of Petra. Its spicy-sweet character is complemented by woody and balsamic elements. The fragrance is intended for both women and men.

Legacy of Petra has an Eau de Parfum concentration and belongs to the woody-spicy fragrance family. It was launched in 2022 and was created by perfumer Nathalie Gracia-Cetto.

• The top notes consist of green tea, fennel and bergamot.
• The heart features liquorice, myrrh, olibanum and rosemary.
• The base contains benzoin, vanilla and woody notes.

The fragrance character also features balsamic elements, woody amber and a tea motif.

About the Brand

Penhaligon's was founded by Cornish barber and perfumer William H. Penhaligon. In 1870, he took over and expanded a London barbershop on Jermyn Street, and two years later created the brand's first fragrance, Hammam Bouquet.

• The brand received its first Royal Warrant in 1903 from Queen Alexandra.
• A second Royal Warrant followed in 1956 from the Duke of Edinburgh.
• In 2015, Penhaligon's became part of the Puig group.
