About the brand
Founder William H. Penhaligon was originally from Penzance in Cornwall. In 1870 he opened a barbershop at 66 Jermyn Street in London. The brand's first fragrance was Hammam Bouquet from 1872, inspired by the scents of the neighbouring Turkish baths.
Penhaligon's received its first Royal Warrant in 1903 from Queen Alexandra and a second in 1956 from the Duke of Edinburgh. In total, the brand has received four Royal Warrants throughout its history. In 2015 it was acquired by Puig.
Blenheim Bouquet thus belongs to a brand with London origins in 1870 and a history of four Royal Warrants.
