Composition

The fresh part of the fragrance composition consists of citrus notes, bergamot and mint. Spicy and woody accords are added by coriander, cardamom and noble woods, while the warm base contains notes of tonka beans and vanilla.

About the Brand

The history of the Tabac brand began in June 1951 with the launch of a soap designed for men. The Original designation was added in October 1952 to distinguish it from imitations. In 1959, the range was expanded to include an aftershave, a Pre Electric Shave product and a cologne.

Tabac is one of the own brands of Mäurer & Wirtz, founded by Michael Mäurer and Andreas August Wirtz in 1845 as a soap manufacturer in Stolberg near Aachen. Tabac Original has been awarded the designation Marke des Jahrhunderts, meaning Brand of the Century.

Tabac continues the tradition of men's products that began with the launch of the brand's first soap in 1951.
