About the Brand

Hugo Ferdinand Boss founded his workshop in Metzingen, Germany, in 1924. The BOSS brand was established in the early 1970s and was registered as a trademark in 1977. HUGO BOSS entered the fragrance segment by granting its first perfume licence in 1984. The company's portfolio today comprises two main brands, BOSS and HUGO, and its headquarters are located in Metzingen.
