About the Brand

Creed was founded by James Henry Creed in 1760 on Conduit Street in London. Originally, the brand operated as a tailoring house for the British royal family and aristocracy, and it continues its artisanal tradition across seven generations.

As part of the Art of Millésime process, rare natural ingredients are hand-weighed and left to mature at Creed's facilities near the Château de Fontainebleau. The fragrances are created in France through a labour-intensive hand-crafted process. In addition to natural raw materials, the brand also uses synthetic fragrance molecules when a given scent cannot be obtained from a natural source or its natural form is unavailable due to regulations.

Creed combines seven generations of artisanal continuity with the Art of Millésime process and hand-crafted fragrance production in France.
