Henné Color Toning Hair Gloss Premium Végétal 100 ml in the shade Mahogany is like a quick yet indulgent transformation when you crave a rich, warm tone while also wanting to give your hair a sense of protection and care. Mahogany is an elegant shade with depth – it combines brown bases with subtly red, woody warm highlights that look natural and luxurious at the same time. In light, it can beautifully "ignite" and add a spark to your hairstyle, while indoors it looks sleek and sophisticated. The gloss is great if you want to refresh color between dyeing sessions, even out lengths, add shine to hair, or gently mask a tired tone. The result often looks like well-groomed, healthy-looking hair that appears to have received exactly the care it needed.

Our plant-based coloring compositions are absolutely unique. The processing time of the gloss is 30–60 minutes, with a recommended application approximately every three to four weeks. Mango butter is rich in essential fatty acids that nourish the hair, unfermented green tea leaves are a powerful antioxidant and protect hair from sunlight and environmental toxins, fig vinegar with an acidic pH smooths the hair, henna covers the hair and protects it against adverse external influences, strengthens it, gives it elasticity, shine and volume.

Usage:

Apply the gloss to clean, towel-dried hair so the product can spread evenly and the tone can take hold as well as possible. I recommend using protective gloves and working section by section – especially if you want a perfectly even result in the back sections as well. Apply the gloss from the roots (or only to the lengths if you just want to refresh the color) and comb through thoroughly so the product reaches everywhere equally. Leave on for the time indicated on the packaging – generally, a shorter time gives a more subtle tone, while longer processing enhances the mahogany depth. Then rinse your hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Finally, you can gently squeeze your hair into a towel and let it air dry, or blow dry – often after just the first use you will notice that the hair is more manageable, smoother and has a more beautiful reflection of light.

Instructions for use:

Wash your hair with a quality shampoo – ideally Premium Végétal – then towel dry your hair, apply a fatty cream around the hairline to prevent unwanted staining of the skin. Place a towel over your shoulders and put on gloves. Apply an adequate amount of the product to the hair and spread it along the entire length of the hair using a brush or a fine-tooth comb. Then put on a plastic cap and wrap your head in a towel to keep it warm. Leave on for 30–60 minutes depending on the desired color intensity. The longer the processing time, the more intense the resulting color shade. Rinse hair under running water, finish with a cool stream, dry and style as usual.

The 100 ml packaging is practical and ideal for one to two single applications, depending on the length and density of your hair. From natural ingredients, the gloss contains mango seed oil, ylang ylang flower oil, henna, fig vinegar, green tea, hibiscus flower extract, beet and padauk wood extract.

Does not contain peroxide, ammonia, PPD, resorcinol, parabens or heavy metals.

The Mahogany shade will develop according to your starting tone: on lighter hair, warmer red-brown highlights will stand out, on medium brown hair you will mainly achieve depth and elegant shine, on dark hair it may appear more as a subtle lightening and a "burgundy" tint in sunlight. The gloss is also great for evening out lengths that tend to be lighter or duller than the roots due to sun, heat and styling. For the best possible result, gentle care helps: cooler water when washing, gentle squeezing with a towel, protection from heat and regular nourishment of the ends. And most importantly – treat yourself to the feeling of doing something just for you. Mahogany is a color that can look confident, feminine and warm without being flashy. Henne Color Premium Végétal toning glosses are suitable for all hair types. They are intended for external use on hair only, not for dyeing eyebrows or eyelashes.

In the case of skin sensitivity to any ingredient, it may cause an allergic reaction. If you are prone to allergic reactions, perform a tolerance test 48 hours before coloring. (Apply a small amount of the product to your forearm, leave on for several hours, and if any adverse skin reaction occurs, do not use the product.)

You can also use the product on chemically colored hair, after a perm or after hair straightening. In these cases, however, we recommend a break of approximately 6–8 weeks before coloring with Henne Color Premium Végétal products.

You can first try the selected gloss shade on a strand of hair to determine the resulting hair color. This applies especially if it is the first coloring after chemical hair treatment (coloring, straightening or perming).
