100% Natural Laundry Powder from Sonett is designed for washing at temperatures of 40 - 95 °C and is suitable for both colored and white textiles made of cotton, linen, hemp, and blended fabrics. Its main ingredient is pure plant soap of the highest BIO quality, which is the most natural cleaning agent for both humans and the environment. Unlike other surfactants, the soap fully and immediately decomposes after use, as it reacts with calcium, which is commonly present in wastewater.

100% biodegradable, without phosphates, enzymes, anti-caking agents, fillers, optical brighteners, effective at temperatures of 40-95 °C. Not suitable for wool, silk, and microfibers.

Machine washing: for 4.5 kg laundry

• Soft water: 50-90 ml
• Medium hard water: 50-90 ml + 30 ml SOFTENER
• Hard water: 50-90 ml + 60 ml SOFTENER

Note: The effects of soap-based detergents can fully develop only in soft water, which is why it is NECESSARY to add a softener to each wash.

Product Specialties:

For soap-based detergent, soft water is an essential requirement. With the SONETT MODULAR SYSTEM, the conditions are created so that the unrivaled advantages of soap can also be utilized in harder water. We refrain from using anti-caking agents, fillers, optical brighteners, phosphates, and any enzymes.

Origin and properties of individual components:

The SONETT detergent contains soap as the main active ingredient, which is made from various plant oils such as palm, rapeseed, coconut, and olive, by boiling with lye. The oils partly come from organic or biodynamic production. Soap as an active washing substance uniquely combines all the necessary properties for the washing process: wetting dirt, dissolving it, and absorbing it.

Soda is produced by transforming lime with table salt. ORTHOSILICATE is created by melting quartz sand and soda. Soda and orthosilicate strengthen the washing lye with their alkalinity and support the release of mainly fatty substances. Zeolite A and layered silicate have silicic rocks as their base raw material. Besides binding calcium in water, these components also bind organic substances dissolved in wash water and color pigments, preventing their deposition on laundry. Coconut oil derivative supports soap in its function of dissolving fats.

Biological Degradation:

Soap from plant oils has the special feature that, immediately after use, it combines with the calcium always present in wastewater to form calcium soap, thus neutralizing its surface effect on aquatic organisms (primary degradation). Calcium soap is then 100% decomposed by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). In the process of producing sugar surfactants and coconut derivatives, components are derived from plant raw materials starch, sugar, and fat, but they remain fully preserved in their natural structure. Therefore, it is easy for microorganisms to fully degrade these surfactants. Soap, sugar surfactants, and coconut oil derivatives are considered by OECD to be easily biologically degradable.
