Inkkas is an independent, family-owned brand that has been handcrafting footwear since 2012. Production takes place in Mexico, where each pair is hand-cut, sewn, and stitched. The distinctive woven textiles are supplied by local artisans and craftspeople from Peru.

The partners involved in production receive wages in line with fair living costs and work in an environment focused on health, safety, and respect. For every Inkkas purchase, one tree is planted through the OneShoeOneTree programme and the organisation Trees.org. The brand also partners with Soles4Souls to refurbish and redistribute used footwear.
