Use / Assembly

The shoes are intended for hiking, outdoor activities and everyday city wear. They require no special break-in period before first use. Inkkas classifies them as comfortable and durable lifestyle footwear, not as technical performance hiking shoes.

After each wear, air the shoes out thoroughly and allow them to dry. Store at room temperature, away from damp, hot and poorly ventilated spaces. Remove light dirt with warm water, a mild washing-up liquid and a brush or clean cloth. For more thorough cleaning, the insole can be removed.

Do not machine wash the shoes. Before use in heavy rain or snow, treat them additionally with a waterproofing spray.

A single pair can therefore be alternated between the city, forest walks, nature trips and hiking.

About the Brand

Inkkas is an independent family brand that has long collaborated with artists and footwear manufacturers. It has been dedicated to handcrafted shoe production since 2012. All Inkkas shoes are handmade in Mexico, and the distinctive woven textiles are supplied by local craftspeople and specialists from Peru.

Individual pairs are cut, sewn and finished by hand using small-batch artisan methods. Through the One Shoe One Tree project, every purchase also funds the planting of one tree.
