Use / Care

The Trekk Boots line represents lifestyle footwear, not technical performance hiking footwear. Remove light dirt with warm water, a mild dish soap, and a brush or clean cloth. Clean leather parts locally using only water or a specialist leather care product.

Do not machine wash the footwear. After each wear, allow it to air out and dry thoroughly. Before wearing in heavy rain or snow, apply a protective waterproofing spray suitable for textile and leather.

Care can be tailored to the individual materials, avoiding machine washing, which is not recommended for this model.

About the Brand

Inkkas has been producing handcrafted footwear since 2012. The shoes are made in Mexico, where each pair is hand-cut, sewn, and assembled using small-batch artisan methods. The distinctive woven textiles are supplied by local craftspeople and specialists from Peru.

Through the One Shoe One Tree programme, each Inkkas purchase funds the planting of one tree in partnership with Trees for the Future.

Each pair combines small-batch handcrafted production, Peruvian textile elements, and a contribution towards planting one tree.
