About the brand

Ecoalf was founded by Javier Goyeneche in 2009. Its name was created from the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. The brand presented its first collection in 2012, when it also opened its first flagship store in Madrid.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first fashion company from Spain to receive B Corp certification.
