About the brand

Ecoalf was founded by Javier Goyeneche in 2009. The brand's name and concept were inspired by the birth of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. After three years of research and development, the brand launched its first collection in 2012 and opened its first flagship store in the centre of Madrid.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which works with the fishing industry to collect marine waste and process it into yarns and fabrics. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification.

Ecoalf thus combines recycled resources with an emphasis on quality, timeless design and longer garment lifespan.
