About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who also serves as the brand's president. Its name and concept were inspired by the founder's sons, Alfredo and Álvaro. The original mission was to create recycled products with quality and design comparable to those made from non-recycled materials.

In 2015, the Ecoalf Foundation was established to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which processes collected ocean waste into yarns and textiles. Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification in 2018. At its third certification in 2025, the brand achieved a score of 122.7 points.
