The sneakers are fastened with laces made from 100% recycled polyester. The inner insole can be removed from the shoe.

About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded by Javier Goyeneche in 2009. The brand's name and concept were inspired by the birth of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. After three years of research and development, the first collection and the first flagship store in Madrid were launched in 2012.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which focuses on collecting marine waste and transforming it into yarns and textiles. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification. In 2022, it was listed among B Corp Best for the World and ranked in the top 5% of companies in the environmental category.

Behind the model stands a brand that has long combined textile development with the use of waste recovered from the sea.
