About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who also serves as the brand's president. The name was created from the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. After three years of research and development, the brand launched its first collection in 2012 and opened its first flagship store in Madrid.

In 2015, the Ecoalf Foundation was established to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which collects ocean waste and transforms it into yarns and fabrics. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification.
