You get a multi-layered interpretation of the fig tree, in which green leaves and milky sap intertwine with more pronounced wood and bark.

Application

You can apply the eau de toilette to pulse points, such as the neck, wrists and inner elbows. For a soft, enveloping trail, spray it in an arc from one shoulder over the head to the other.

About the Brand

Diptyque was founded in Paris in 1961 by Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Montadre-Gautrot and Yves Coueslant. The brand's first space was located at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain in the 5th arrondissement of Paris.

In 1963, Diptyque introduced its first three scented candles — Aubépine, Cannelle and Thé. The brand's first eau de toilette was named L'Eau and was inspired by a 16th-century recipe.

Philosykos builds on the Parisian history of the brand, which began on boulevard Saint-Germain and gradually expanded from scented candles to personal fragrances.
