Use and Dosage

Before shaving, soak the brush in warm water for 3–5 minutes. Do not use water that is too hot or boiling, as this can damage the bristles. Then gently squeeze out the excess water and apply shaving soap or cream.

Create the lather using circular motions in a bowl or directly on your face. After use, rinse the brush thoroughly, remove excess water, and leave it to dry with the bristles facing down or freely in a well-ventilated area.

Boar bristles are stiffer in a new brush and gradually soften with regular use. Slight bristle shedding during the first few uses is a normal part of the break-in process.
