About the brand

The origins of the Eucerin brand are linked to the pharmacy of Paul C. Beiersdorf in Hamburg. Paul C. Beiersdorf founded the company Beiersdorf in 1882 by filing a patent for a new type of medical dressing. In 1900, chemist Isaac Lifschütz patented the emulsifier Eucerit, which enabled the production of stable water-in-oil emulsions.
