About the Brand

The Londa brand was founded on 4 December 1956 within the Wella group. Its name is derived from the French word "l'onde", meaning "wave", and from 1959 the trade name Londa was used exclusively.

In 1990, the brand was reintegrated into the Wella group. Londa Professional has been focusing on small independent salons and individual stylists for more than half a century. In 2013, it introduced the educational programme Learn It, Live It, Share It.
