Diptyque associates tuberose with dusk, when white flowers emerge from the darkness. The fragrance was inspired by the memories of co-founder Yves Coueslant of summer stays in the coastal town of Do Son in Vietnam's Ha Long Bay area.

About the Brand

Diptyque was founded in Paris in 1961 by Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Montadre-Gautrot and Yves Coueslant. Their first space at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain in the 5th arrondissement combined an artist's studio with a cabinet of curiosities. The brand does not tie its fragrances to traditional gender categories.
