Composition

The fragrance opens with grapefruit, bergamot and black pepper. At its heart lie lavandin, geranium and tonka bean, while the base is formed by vetiver, patchouli and leather.

About the Brand

The Tabac Original Craftsman range was launched in 2019 as a fresher variation of the classic fragrance, aimed primarily at younger users. The history of the Tabac brand began in June 1951 with a scented soap created for men. The Original designation was added in October 1952, and in 1959 the brand expanded its range to include an aftershave, a pre-electric shave product and an eau de cologne.

Tabac is one of the own brands of the German perfumery company Mäurer & Wirtz, which was founded by Michael Mäurer and Andreas August Wirtz in 1845 as a soap manufacturer in Stolberg near Aachen.

Original Craftsman continues the men's focus of the Tabac brand, whose history dates back to 1951.
