The family company Pleva was founded by Hanka and Milan Pleva in 1990, starting out with just two products. The family has been keeping bees since 1969. It is a Czech company with no foreign capital, carrying out all production in the Czech Republic. Neither its cosmetics nor the raw materials used have ever been tested on animals.
