According to the manufacturer, the musky heart is composed of three distinct variants of musk. Labdanum lends it a leathery aspect reminiscent of skin. In the base, sandalwood adds a creamy texture, while patchouli develops a woody depth. The composition also includes oils from Virginian juniper, bergamot, orange and lemon peel.

Application

Apply the fragrance to pulse points, specifically the inner wrists and elbows, the neck and the area behind the ears.

About the Brand

Narciso Rodriguez's eponymous label was launched in 1997 alongside its first women's ready-to-wear collection in Milan. Its founder grew up in Newark in a family of Cuban immigrants and studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York.

Musk became the cornerstone of the brand's fragrance identity after Narciso Rodriguez received a small bottle of Egyptian musk oil in his youth. The fragrance collections are united by an aesthetic of clean lines, balance and a modern sensibility.
