About the Brand

The Lalique brand was founded in Paris in 1888 by jeweller and glassmaker René Lalique. In 1907, he began a collaboration with perfumer François Coty and subsequently expanded his work for the perfume industry. The brand's first own fragrance, Lalique de Lalique, was launched in 1992.

Lalique's work draws on three themes close to René Lalique's heart: flora, fauna and the female figure. The Verrerie d'Alsace glassworks in the village of Wingen-sur-Moder began operations in 1922.

Amethyst Eclat continues Lalique's tradition of combining perfumery with natural motifs, which are evident both in the fragrance's inspiration and in the decoration of the bottle.
