The composition is defined by a combination of ambergris and rose with a delicate oud accord. The inspiration came from the former nawabs, rulers of the Indian region of Oudh.

The top notes combine green notes, bergamot, orange absolute, cardamom and aldehydes. The heart develops rose, magnolia, orchid, pimento, bay laurel, cinnamon and hedione. The base is formed by grey amber, musk, vetiver, labdanum and oud.

The product contains no added colorants, parabens or phthalates. According to the manufacturer, it is not tested on animals.

You receive a multi-layered composition in which floral, spicy and green notes transition into an amber base with oud.

About the Brand

The founder and creator of Ormonde Jayne is Linda Pilkington. She opened the brand's first boutique in October 2001 on London's Old Bond Street.

The products are created in the brand's own studio in Kent, England. The fragrance oils mature there for several months before filtration and filling, and production is independently audited in accordance with GMP principles.

The perfume is backed by the brand's own English production, several months of oil maturation and independent auditing of manufacturing processes.
