Dior Poison eau de toilette is a women's oriental fragrance built around the intense floral note of Indian tuberose. Spicy, floral and amber tones are complemented by sensual accords of honey and musk.

Fragrance and Composition

The original Poison fragrance was launched in 1985, with perfumer Édouard Fléchier involved in its creation. The composition opens with coriander, offering a fresh, peppery-spicy and citrus-sparkling tone. Indian tuberose absolute introduces an intense floral accord with honey and orange nuances.

The launch of Poison was celebrated on 17 September 1985 with a ball at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, with actress Isabelle Adjani as the guest of honour. In 1987, the fragrance received the Fragrance of the Year – Women's Luxury award from The Fragrance Foundation.
