The composition commemorates the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's death. The inspiration was the legend of the love between Marco Polo and Hao Dong, set against the backdrop of imperial China.

Tiziana Terenzi is an Italian family brand whose history began in 1968, when Guglielmo Terenzi and his wife Luigia founded Cereria Terenzi, a workshop focused on handcrafted candles.
