About the Brand

The brand was founded by French designer Ted Lapidus, who was born on 23 June 1929 in Paris. He established his own fashion house in 1951 and joined the Paris Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in 1963.

Ted Lapidus fragrances were launched in 1970 in collaboration with L'Oréal. In 1995, the brand became part of the Jacques Bogart group. Its emblem was created from buttons adorned with an anchor and two heraldic fleurs-de-lis.
