Fragrance and Composition
- This is an Eau de Toilette from the aldehyde-floral olfactory family.
- The original Madame Rochas was launched in 1960 and was created by perfumer Guy Robert.

- The rich heart features iris, narcissus, orris root, ylang-ylang, Bulgarian rose, violet, lily of the valley, jasmine and tuberose. White florals are particularly prominent in this accord.
- The base transitions into oakmoss, sandalwood, vetiver, musk, cedar, amber and tonka bean. According to the manufacturer, the dry-down carries warm, light accents of musk.

About the Brand
The Rochas fashion house was opened by Marcel Rochas in Paris in 1925, when he was 23 years old. In 1931, the brand moved to Rue Matignon in Paris. Marcel Rochas introduced his first three fragrances — Audace, Air Jeune and Avenue Matignon — in 1936. Following his death in 1955, Hélène Rochas took over the management of the company. Today, the brand places Madame Rochas among its heritage fragrances alongside Femme and Tocade.
Madame Rochas thus belongs to the fragrances firmly linked to the history of the Parisian fashion house Rochas.
