About the Brand

Montblanc's origins date back to 1906, when August Eberstein, Alfred Nehemias and Claus Johannes Voss founded the company in Hamburg. The brand presented its first writing instrument in 1909.

Montblanc acquired its name in 1910, after the highest mountain in the Alps. Its six-pointed white emblem represents the six snow-covered glaciers of Mont Blanc. Fragrances have been part of the brand's offering since 2001.
